Chelsea are reportedly considering a £30million offer to sign a youngster during the January transfer window. And Trevoh Chalobah is apparently planning to move.

Believe it or not, planning will already be in place appropriately for potential deals with the Blues in the new year. CFC President Todd Boehly has already shown us that he is absolutely willing to spend money wherever and whenever necessary to improve the team.

The council will see the next market opening in 2023 as an opportunity. This is a position opposed to that of certain other clubs who see it as an element that could destabilize or harm their respective squads and therefore their form.

Chelsea should be and supposedly are planing reinforcements. No disrespect to Boehly, but the signings will hopefully be organized and monitored by a capable and proven head of recruiting who will be installed soon.

With that goal in mind, the west London outfit have their sights set on a standout youngster from nearby Fulham. Luke Harris has been identified as “a man worth adding to his team” by chairman and new head coach Graham Potter.

While the mirror may be correct in their claim Speaking of “the man”, the 17-year-old is still a teenager. The £30m-rated starlet is therefore unlikely to join the first team but will understandably be considered as another for the future. At this tender age, Harris is part of the senior Wales international team; he scored a hat-trick against the Blues Under-21s for the young Cottagers in August, sparking interest.

Of course, Chels’ has recently made several interesting acquisitions for the future. With Carney Chukwuemeka, Gabriel Slonina and Cesare Casadei among the most promising recruits. Harris signed his first professional contract with FFC this month.

Trevoh Chalobah considering temporary Chelsea exit

Chalobah is another talent who may not fit into the Chelsea squad, or who may not have many opportunities to impress under a different management. And so the rumor mill begins to roar. The defender is therefore linked with a loan to Roma from Jose Mourinho.

The former CFC manager has two Englishmen who are doing well under him: Chris Smalling and Tammy Abraham. Luckily, the Blues won’t consider a permanent switch as they like the player. Chalobah has a lot of potential as I see it; perhaps Potter disagrees with that assessment or wants the 23-year-old to develop first.
