Bajaj Holdings stock price: Bajaj Holdings shares rise 1.3% in Tuesday’s trading session

The shares of Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd. rose 1.3% to 5,751.2 rupees in Tuesday’s trading at 11:42 a.m. (IST), even as the benchmark Nifty reigned at 17,660.85, down 4.95 points.

The certificate had closed at Rs 5677.3 in the previous session. The stock traded a 52-week low of Rs 4235.75 and a high of Rs 6573.05. The company quoted a market cap of Rs 63,969.84 crore on BSE.

On BSE, 1,328 stocks have changed hands on the counter so far. At its prevailing price, the share traded at 15.06 times its 12-month EPS of 381.55 rupees per share and 1.3 times its book value. The return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 9.46.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2022, & Investment Ltd. reported consolidated sales of Rs 104.24 crore, down 5.78% from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported a 24.5% year-on-year growth in net profit to Rs 969.33 crore for the latest quarter.

Technical indicators

The relative strength index (RSI) for the stock stood at Tuesday. The RSI oscillates between zero and 100. Traditionally, it is considered an overbought condition when the RSI value is above 70 and oversold when it is below 30.
